No it's not.  It is an anabolic activator.

I know where the confusion is.  You heard the term anabolic steroids.  

An anabolic steroid and anabolic activator essentially do the same thing.  They activate the anabolic process of building muscle.  The difference is how they do it.

Muscletech is a huge supplement company.  To sell their products they would need FDA clearance on all of them.  You can't get that for steroids, besides the fact that it's illegal to sell steroids.
