Is the surf on the beach in Cancun rough for children to swim in?

all the photos I see of the place we are staying the water looks rough. It also looks like the beach is pushed way up. If I am looking to enjoy the beach is this the place to go we are staying at the crown paradise club

it is all going to matter on high tide or low tide....if theres a storm front going thru it could be a bit rough...but there are alot of spots where the water is really calm for the kids...i'm not sure where the crown paradise is but you can always jump a bus...it costs 65 cents......do not exchange money at airport or hotel...get better rates going to the banhave fun.....ks.....

On the beaches infront of the Hotel they have a flag system. If you see a red flag flying on the beach then it´s too rough for Adults let alone children, and the beach is usually closed to swimming.

depends where yull located

eitherr gulf of mexico

or carribean

i was on the carribean side and it was crazzy

we were barely aloud to go in the water

and then we saw the gulf of mexico and it was so calm.
