  5. No chance mate!  The roads can be bumpy, it's dusty, you need to have slow speed maneuverability, and something reliable.

    You won't get parts with a GXR out there, so be more realistic.  You can't go wrong with the Eponymous Enfield Bullet's which are like a version of a small Harley Davidson, cheap, and can be mended everywhere.

    Even something like a tyre on a GXR would cost you a fortune and probably take about a month to get hold of.

    Even riding a moped out there, you're faster than most things on the road, so the Enfield would be ten times more practical and comfortable, plus less likely to get stolen.
