Is the sword of truth series over, or are more books comming out??

I would like to start reading this series, but i do not like to start a series unless it is completely written.

It finished with Confessor, I had great fun waiting for the last one to come out.  Both my brother and I really loved this series and we were always trying to beat each other to the next book.

He was thoughtful in buying Confessor for me for Christmas!

Terry Goodkind has said that the series is finished with Confessor, but that he may continue to write books about the world, it's just that the storyline of Richard and Kahlan has ended.  

They're great books and I highly recommend them.  I was a little disappointed with the last few books, they weren't as strong as the first few, but I still loved them.
