I really like the looks, but im a beginner. i would wrather spend my money now. instead of buying a 200$ one then after i get good buy the synyster gates one. If i did buy synysters first then what would be the downsides. If they're are major problems then what would be a good starter guitar, specific model not a just a brand name. And i guess most of all is the synyster guitar even good. And Are they're any guitars with a similar paintjob.

  1. youre on the right track, but no the synyster standard isn't a great idea.  the synyster custom is agreat guitar, but synysters name jacks up the price by a few hundred.  i used to be endorsed by schecter before i switched to fender, and a few of my friends still are, and i can tell you that they could get the synyster custom for the same price that you get the standard, and I could get it for free.  I can tell you from the inside that the best bang for the buck would be the schecter omen-6, for 300 dollars.  its an excellent guitar that you'll play long after you buy a replacement.  i'm a pro now, and i still bring it on tour and to shows as one of my backups.  the synyster standard is decent, however it is worth more like 3 or 400 dollars, not 600 or whatever they charge for it these days.  a good, more expensive guitar would be the schecter c series of guitars, which is what synyster actually used before getting that custom model, which he does not even use by the way, he has a custom made one, not a factory produced.  theres also the hellraiser avenger if you like the shape of synyster's guitar, though i don't like the sound of that guitar much, it's of good quality.

personally, i recomend fenders, the john5 telecaster is great for your kind of music.
