  1. All water is recycled in the grand scheme of things.

In the UK, waste water is cleaned and discharged into rivers or the sea.

In some parts of the UK, water is pumped out of rivers into reservoirs. which is then cleaned for drinking.

Edit: To answer your question, No, it is not recycled. Although water from sewage works (the water they discharge into rivers or the sea) *is* drinking water quality, there is always the perception problem, so it is not recycled that way.

Edit to jeka (below): Not in the UK it isn't, so stop talking out of your ar$e please.

  2. The Scottish water is not recycled. It is naturally soft and very pure, after use it goes into the sewers and is disposed of. Hope this helps. lol

  3. All water is recycled, it evaporates and comes back as rainwater.

  4. I can answer with 100% accuracy.

Scottish water is NOT recycled from 'grey' water (washing water) - it is ALL sourced from natural LOCHS or manmade reservoirs and then to a treatment plant for filtering & chlorine treatment.

NO water for domestic consumption in Scotland comes from any other source, unless a private Highland residence or Island dwelling (small scale filtering from local sources).

  5. yes, it used to be pee

  6. ime not sure, but i can tell you that scottish water is much more purer and tastes much nicer than english water!

  7. All water is recycled either through the environment or sewage works.

All water has been through something or someone over millions of years

So think about what you wash in,launder, clean with.

  8. INDEFINATLEY...IT JUST KEEPS GOING BACK INTO THE SYSTEM

  9. yes, its all sewerage baby!

  10. Yes

  11. Is this a trick question?

It is impossible to tell how many times water has been recycled - but its probably in the millions...or billions!

  12. All water is recycled we are using the very same water that has been on the planet for billions of years

  13. of course

  14. Yeah all water is recylced.  When you take a shower, cook or go to the bathroom the water goes down the drain and into the sewer lines.  From there it goes to a water plant and it is cleaned with different chemicals like chlorine and charcoal.  After the cleaning process it is tested to see if the water is okay to drink.  After the testing it is placed in well like storage and when needed its pumped out to send it back to your shower, faucet and toilet.

To simply answer your question ... YES :0)
