Is the term "Maverick" just a nicer way of saying "Political Opportunist"?

95% record of McCain voting with the Bush agenda suggests the latter....

  1. This particular Maverick makes choices based on what he feels is good for the country...you can check his record, by the way. He's been on the scene long before GW. This Mavercick does not vote along party lines if he does not believe in the cause.

    He is quite independent, a very honerable man.
