Is the the only difference between the Ion (regular) and Ion XE the disassembly?

Because if it is...is it really THAT big of a deal?

The ion xe as the bolt out the back so its much easier to clean and only takes seconds. Unlike the ion you must take apart the whole marker.

Also the ion xe has a different body.

So to anwser your question No there is not many other differences. But if i were you i would still go with the xe because if ur at a tournament and u chop or ur bolt drops forward u'll have to take ur whole marker apart to fix it if ur bolt drops forward. The xe could be cleaned and fixed in a few short minutes.

So if i were u i would spend $35 more and just get the xe so u can safe ur self the trouble and there will also probably be a lot more cool accessories comming out that u might wanna get that are only for the xe.

I suggest u get the ion XE.
