  1. Nope.  They are both on Western European Time (WET) also known as Greenwich Mean time (GMT).  There's been some pressure recently in the UK to adopt Central European Time (CET) instead.

  2. No difference

  3. Yeah BIG difference in the time

The time I have in Portugal is GOOD whereas the time I have at home in the UK is SH*T!!!!

  4. No, they are on GMT

  5. nope!

  6. Some of these answers seem to imply that Portugal uses GMT all year round. They don't.

    To avoid confusion.

Portugal uses the same times as the UK: GMT in winter and GMT+1 (BST) in summer.

So do the Canary Islands, even though they're Spanish (which uses Central European Time).

  7. No, both countries are in GMT.

  8. Nope exactly the same even putting clocks forward/backward at the same time. The portuguese concept of time is entirely different to the british though.
