Is the top part of the broccoli (sprouts) more nutrient rich than the bottom part (the stalks) ?

or are the nutrients distributed evenly?

  1. Actually, the stalks hold alot of the fiber and nutrients. Also, higher amounts of calcium are in the leaves on the stem.


  2. the stalks have as much nutrients in them as the floret does

    if you peel the stalk you can slice it into small pieces and stir fry it or use it in a casserole , soup or steam it
