Yes, the toucan is endangered and its population is decclining. The reasosn for this are:

-most toucan body parts are made into human products

-humans are destroying the rainforest, a toucan's habitat,  every day by cutting it down and clearing it every day.

-the toucan does not have many young because it does not reproduce as much
