  2. I live in Borehamwood. Eastenders is made here and the BB studios are just down the road too. Millionaire is recorded here. We have lots of studios!

  3. I'm from Tullamore in Ireland which is famous for the whiskey called 'Tullamore Dew',  It's popular in the Europe , anyone heard of it?

  4. Einstein was a refugee here in Bern, Switzerland. and worked at the Patent office. But that's all relative.

    Now the town where I was born, Kendal, in England is famous for having been the residence of Katherine Parr. Women from them there parts are made of stronger stuff - she survived her marriage to Henry VIII.

    It was also a roman town as well which means there are roman ruins everywhere.

    It is also a Garrison town with 2 and 3 Para living here i believe.

    It is also famous for Blur.

  6. apparently the village i live in has the most picturesque cricket pitch in Britain or something....the BBC were here filming something about it a while ago. why a picturesque cricket pitch is important completely escapes me...seems pretty random to me!!

    Robyn island-Where during Apartheid many black south Africans where jailed there one of the more famous people are Nelson Mandela.

    Seal island-Is the only place in the world where sharks jump up out of the water to catch seals.

    Table mountain-Will the name says it all it is flat and looks like table and when clouds go ova it,it looks like a table cloth

    Two famous Cheeses, double and single Gloucester.

    Gloucester is the UK's most inland sea port. Proclaimed by Queen  Elizabeth the 1st.
