Is the tracfone any good?

I'm considering getting it, but i don't know what kind of reception it gets, does it take pictures, videos, can I text with it? How much will it cost, I've been told(by tv commercials) it's only 12-15$dollars. Should I get the tracfone?

they suck. when i had one, i had to get a new one every year because they would always break.
