  1. you can put trailers on concrete foundations if you choose. there are special anchors that can be turned into the ground about 5 feet to hold them down in high wind. all in all a convential home is a better bet.

    Trailer is made of aluminum... home is wood.

  3. Even the best manufactured homes weigh less than a built home & susceptible to high wind damage & blowing off their foundations.

    Fire is the problem in the older mfg homes. In approx 5 mins, the fire could be fully involved. In less than 30 mins, there would be nothing left of the home but melted siding & ashes.

  4. No, it has no foundation, it is built cheaper overall and it does not do as good as a home during a terrible windstorm.....

  5. Its less stable and smaller. A real house has a good foundation and is sturdier.  Trailers are cheaper but less safe.

    it would be a lot safer living in something that was in the ground as apposed to something that is a lot less sturdy
