  1. Barcelona is a very artsy place. I loved it. There is an architect there named Gaudi and his buildings are amzing to see. I would definatly recommend going there

  2. YES in capital letters I'm from Barcelona and living in LA and I know you're gone to love Barcelona , food, museums , Montserrat, beaches in Girona, etc... don't doubt for a second.

  3. Great place - stay in or near the Ramblas or in the Gothic Quarter just to the east. This is a good base from where you can explore the city's sights by day including Gaudi's masterpiece, the unfinished Sagrada Família Cathedral, and Parc Güell in the north. See http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/places/barcelo... for more details

  4. hellz yes it is, I've never had the opportunity, but if I did I would go in a heart beat just for the tapas on the cafe, come on now.

  5. I visited Barcelona for the first time last summer and it is by far THE best city EVER!!  I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed.  The atmosphere and buzz is fantastic, day and night.  There are hundreds of interesting sights and art all over the place.  I would really recommend the bus tour as your ticket will be valid for 2 days and you get on and off as you please.  the place is so big that this is the best way to see the place without totally wearing your feet out.  You have the amazing Gaudi buildings and art galleries plus the beach all in one place.  It's fantastic and I can not wait to go back. We were walking around at 2am in the morning and did not feel at all threatened - everyone is out and about enjoying the city.  The flight in your tin tube will be worth it!  Have a great trip!
