Is the uk the most polluting place on the globe ???

Question

the way our road taxing and fuel price costing is hitting us and all the global stuff motorists are hit with dont own a 4x4 dont own a jag or a big engined car if you own an older vehicle and it gives out a bit more fumes YA GONNA PAY FOR IT

so it seems uk is the biggest polluter yet we are such a small island

No China and America are much bigger polluters.  Looks like the UK Govt are back peddling on the increase in Road Tax for older vehicles.  It is as unpopular as the 10p tax band debacle.

I doubt very much if we are the biggest polluters - after all, we have very little manufacturing industry left now after the best efforts of Tory and Labour governments. My guess would be either China or India are the biggest polluters.

Well seeing that we have people coming from all directions to live here, and losing all our green space...It will happen if it is not already here...in a small Island the rubbish has to go somewhere, and has little to do with cars but that will get worse.
