In the Oil for Food programm, the UN would have used its own people. Instead, national countries forced it to use their own people (non EU employees) and this people stole billions.

Not only did national state appoint corrupt people in the UN for their own interests (nobody knows what happened later with the money), they ALSO MANAGED TO PASS THE BLAME OF THE CORRUPTION OF THEIR OWN PEOPLE TO THE UN.

And off course you will see basic people here like sheeps bashing the UN without knowing...

It's a corrupt power-loving orginazation.

From the US:

$422.7 million for the UN regular budget

$101.4 million for the World Health Organization (WHO)

$89.3 million for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)

$83.1 million for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)

$69.5 million for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)

$63.3 million for the International Labor Organization (ILO)

$33.2 million for UN war crimes tribunals

(by the way, these are just the MANDATORY dues for 2007)

But hey, its worth it. We've still got at least 10 years before Iran has nuke bombs, and only half the world lives on less than 2 dollars a day.

Yes and no.  There are certainly parts of the UN that have shown themselves to be corrupt.  Oil for Food, enough said.  But, there are still that group of dedicated, hard-working staff that tries to strive for justice and to do the right thing.  The problem lies in accountability.  There are billions of dollars in annual funds that are sent to the UN and it is difficult to keep track of. Does that mean what happens is fair?  No.

The UN is corrupt and a criminal organization. Any organization that puts Sudan, a country that still has slavery, on it's Human Rights council, is a joke. The UN needs to be disbanded as quick as possible, with it's leaders facing trial for crimes against humanity  in their respective countries.
