  1. Yup. That is 'zactly what it is...

    Seems that this one is more or less 40 Billion Light Years in radius as far as we can tell by use of radio telescope measurement (13 Billion Light Years by optical telescope) in all directions, but that is only the limitation of our equipment. As far as we know it keeps right on going in all directions.

    Furthermore, "stuff" like galaxies and nebula are scattered around  within the universe more or less equally, and not lots of stuff over here and just a smattering over there...
