I am traveling to Switzerland and I would like to be able to charge my electronics that i bring with me (digital camera, ipod touch, electric toothbrush) but i have heard that even with the proper adaptor (changes the USA plug to the European kind), the voltages are different and my device would be fried when i plug it in to charge. I am not sure if this is true and i need an answer fast

thanks

as you can see, there is a diffrence. even if you can find a proper american outlet in switzerland, you wont be able to do anything since the voltage is different.

  2. USA 120v, 60Hz.

    Switzerland 230v, 50Hz.
