See I watched this movie awhile back called where the heart is about a woman who has a baby in walmart in a town called seqouyah, oklahoma. Does anyone know if this was a true story?

  1. Man I seen this movie too, and actually I thought it was a pretty good movie. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of love stories. But if I were to pick a love story, this one would probably be it, because of Wal-Mart dude. I mean walmart's like the best place to shop for poor people such as me. lol! Well and anyways no that story isn't true, even though it would be cool if it was.


  2. It is actually based on a book by Billie Letts. It is not a true story. The symbolism of Walmart is because, walmart is about as American as one can get and that they are everywhere.  

  3. I don't think so, because after i saw this film i looked on wikipedia and it is a film based on the novel 'where the heart is' by Billie Letts. It doesn't say anything about it being a true story.
