Is the wap protocol not longer <fully->supported by yahoo?

While it is still possible to use an <older-> mobile to go to wap.yahoo.de for instance; nothing much seems to work properly there any more.

Can it be that yahoo now only really supports newer mobile devices that have a full feature web/http browser capability?
