Is the water good enough to be used as ice??

The water is polluated right? So do they use bottled water as ice?

I would be very careful with tap water. Chinese would never drink it from the tap, they would always cook it. Or use a some sort of filter (and most often still cook it).

After it's filtered and cooked they may use it for ice.

Fish from China is all contaminated as all rivers and the ocean is heavily contaminated in and around China.

You can use the water, but you have to boil it first.

Once it's boiled, you can drink it or make ice with it. The Chinese do not even drink the water unless it has been boiled (or if it's bottled water). You could use bottled water as ice, but it's a bit of a waste of money when you could just boil your own water and make ice. Either way would be okay, though.

No way. Use bottled water at all times and check the cap seal isn't broken. Beggars get old bottles and fill them from a tap to earn a little money from some shops.
