  1. Its not a scam according to NBC News TV.

Check out the video. They installed the water4gas device

and report up to 20% better gas mileage. More testing is being done but so far it works!

  2. It can be done, but it takes MORE energy to complete the conversion than it produces.

I doubt the average person could do it in any case.

  3. Honestly, YES it does work. I have done this to my 96 Saturn and currently get about 50 miles per gallon.

I wrote a blog review about it here:

It's very simple. You don't change your engine or computer. A quart-size (95O cc) container is placed somewhere under the hood. You fill it with DISTILLED WATER and a little bit of BAKING SODA. The device gets vacuum and electricity (12 Volts) from the engine, and produces HHO gas (Hydrogen+Oxygen). The HHO gas is supplied to the engine's intake manifold or carburetor as shown below.

    Hope this helps.

  4. The science is very true, but please avoid the water4gas company.. they are scam artists.  Don't let this turn you off to the process at hand though!

I've over tripled my gas mileage using Hydrogen on Demand technology and it's very easy to do.

I am part of an Alternative Energy Research group and this is one of our key points of focus.

We have FREE plans and diagrams on our myspace page of how to build your own HHO generator. Please consider our free plans before you get stuped into buying those of the water4gas scammers.  They teach you how to create a very inferior product at your expense.

  5. It is a total scam.  If the oil companies could turn on the tap in stead of drilling for oil, don't you think they would find some way to market it.  Those guys aren't stupid, and the boys over at NASCAR would be all over this were it true since their fuel bill is even higher per gallon.

  6. There are several scientific papers that show that supplementing your gasoline engine with HHO gas both improves performance and greatly reduces the amount of pollutants from the exhaust. In the studies they had the ability to adjust the engine timings and fuel ratios. The problem with the water4gas system is that it just generates HHO, introduces it into the intake and then "sees what results you get". Based upon what the computer sensors (oxygen, etc) do to adjust the fuel consumption, your results can vary. It's not a scam, but since it is a "build it yourself" kit, it is more for the car enthusiast. I am adding a system onto my SUV at the moment, but am reading up on my onboard computer and using the study results to tune this guy and see what maximum efficiency I get. So if you have a car you wouldn't mind tinkering with, try it out. You will get better gas mileage, but how much better.....it's a guess.

  7. It is a scam.  I have looked at it and listened to a couple of engineers talk about it on a local car show.  It does produce a small amount of hydrogen, but it requires more energy to make the conversion than you could ever hope to get, and the amount of hydrogen is minuscule.  Hydrogen also is somewhat difficult to burn, so the internal turbulence in the engine would make it impossible to actually burn.  One person described it as lighting a f**t in a hurricane.
