Is the way you hear yourself talk?

Your actual voice? or is it the way you hear your self on videos, and recorders the way you talk? And why is that?

It's how you sound when you're recorded.

When you 'hear yourself' in your head speaking, it is a combonation of what everyone else hears and the sound that travels through your head (mainly water, and sound travels faster in water) and into your ear canal/brain area, which vibrates some lil' hairs in your ear which send electrical impulses to the brain which makes sound.

When you hear a recording that is how you sound to everyone else. The reason you sound different to yourself is you are hearing your voice from inside your head as well as from outside. the vibrations from your voice vibrate your head and your inner ear will pick up these vibrations and alter what you hear

its voice u hear on recorders that is most close to your real voice.depends on the amplifier how close....

its because the sound produced by our mouth does not directly fall upon our ears.

try and connect  ur mouth and ur ears with hands and talk into it.thats ur voice as it sounds
