Is the weather always good in SA?

Question

In England it's supposed to be summer at the moment. We get 2-3 days of sunshine and good temperatures, followed by rain and grey skies for 2-3 weeks :(

You can't plan anything outdoors here, and lucky if you get several days of hot weather together.

Sometimes it's so windy and dusty outside that it's not pleasant to go anywhere.  The visibility on the road can get very bad due to the blowing sand and dust.  But, most of the time, it is hot and sunny and clear skies.  Most people here go out after dark because of the heat, so being sunny isn't a condition people look for when planning an event.

.........weather here is both extremes......extremely hot in summer and extremely cold in winter.......but in the west region weather is more tolerable than eastern region.....

if you think 120F temperature with 100% humidity so wet you can cut a knife through it is good.. then come on over...

OH.. I hate Augusts here..

and this year its been so windy and dusty... Weve had a zillion dust storms this year.. more than ive ever experienced in my whole life here...

Winters are mild and pleasant, but not long... we rarely get rain... maybe one week out of the year it will sprinkle,, but no huge downpour.... I can remember though in 1995,, it flooded real bad... I can remember cause I was in hospital that month it was Ramadan.. and when I got home around 15th of Ramdan the streets in Khobar were so flooded My husband had to park the car about 4 blocks away where it was higher ground and even then, when he opened the car door, the water in the streets came up to the bottom of the car door..

Annual precipitation is usually sparse (up to 100 mm or 4 inches in most regions), although sudden downpours can lead to violent flash floods in wadis. Annual rainfall in Riyadh averages 100 mm (4 inches) and falls almost exclusively between January and May; the average in Jeddah is 54 mm (2.1 inches) and occurs between November and January.

in the summer it's so hot. in the winter it gets so cold in the north that it actually snows.
