Yes it is, except for the hurricanes and severe thunderstorms that float thru every once and a while...

As jet doc said, yes it's really nice on those summer day's unless a thunderstorm starts....

VFR -Visual Flight Rules , I wouldn't think so due to Thunderstorms , rain , fog rolling throught other then that It would be fine . But that's not just with FL other states as well it would apply to all that have nice weather.

There are many VFR days but IFR is required to deal with the frequent storms and fog.
