Is the website snopes.com a reliable source of information?

I trust it and it has saved me no end to believing and forwarding hoax emails. There is one other but I like Snopes best and go there often. Also to get some interesting emails to send friends & family.

Yes, I have been using them for years. They do a lot of research and do a very good job of filtering out the wheat from the chaff so to speak. Always check with them before forwarding some cool pictures and especially warnings/tips.
