  1. Partially. But they wanted to self-govern and now they must reap the rewards.

  2. Well yeah. All of you continue to stiff us but the Chinese at least leave something tangible to compensate slightly for s******g us over. However this will not continue when the present crop of western-controlled puppets we have as leaders are put to pasture and the new batch of Africans who are better educated, more savvy and knowlegable take over. Then you'll wish you'd been a little nicer to us.

  3. Perhaps but really too many African countries are just a mess, tribal fueds, corrupt politicians, Aids, its a place tha'ts out of control.  Bush pumped in moe money to Africa then any other president, with little help.

  4. yes the west is loosing the grip on AFRICA the reason is simple. The CHINESE invest in an african country with the govt.of the day intact and grab it one piece.where by the west invest in an african country to break the govt.of the day and try grabbing it in pieces and parcels as it is short sighted futile attempt the chinese method is far sighted and long term.

  5. No.  I think you have it the wrong way around.  China is going there and getting HUGE natural resources to grow their economy.  China doesn't ask a lot of "inconvenient" questions about human rights, political activities, etc.  The west needs to find a way to work with Africa AND encourage more open governments.
