Is the whimsy dragon webkinz really discontinued? whats the difference between retired & discontinued?????

just wondering.... it sounds just like a scheme that Webkinz retailers concocted to sell the dragons for nearly double or triple.... isnt it just a little suspicious?

This is what I hear from my friend. The frabic store that they het that pink sparkly material from well that store doesnt make that frabic anymore so yes they probably will discontinue. I dont think there is a diffrence between dicontinue and retired.

It's not retired!! Material on it is not being sold or made anymore so they can't make the dragon. If you have it make sure you keep it!

Ok this is what i herd. I herd that the don't have enough fabric to make both the dragon and the pink pony. I think that they need to go ahead and get rid of the pink pony. It is no where near as popular as the dragon. I have called stores all around my state and i finally found a shop that is getting in an order of them today and I am getting one I am the first person on her list to call and she is holding it untill I get there. I have also herd that the Dragon looks to much like Cassie  from Dragon Tales. Even if so that is a good thing I sugested naming my dragon Cassie. Any way non of this has beend confermend by GANZ so I don;t belive it for right now. Keep calling local stores and seeing if and when they are getting more in. Good luck.

I dont think there is a difference between retired & discontinued.And no the whimsy dragon webkinz is not retired. If u ever want 2 kno if an animal is retired than go 2 www.webkinz.com and theres a link that says webkinz catalog. There it should show u wats retired and wat isnt.
