  1. i think it is but honestly no one enforces this law people over in Tobago eat the Cocrico and i am certain down here they eat the Scarlet Ibis

now i think you will get locked up if caught but seriously who catching you out they unless you killing them like 50 a day or something

  2. Yea d wild life is protected but d law is not really followed

  3. no cause when the Min. Of ...... sending he boys to get some ibis for him to make cook wha yuh expect.

  4. Yes it is, but the law isnt inforced. The rangers only have like 2 or 4 boats to patrol de whole swamp, so they cant do much. The govt need to get serious about protecting our national bird before Trinidad dont have any left.

  5. Shamefully no. It doesn't seem to be a national concern even though the numbers are declining. The government too busy buying blimp.

  6. Yes, i believe that they are supposed to be protected....not that anyone paying attention to any of dem laws and dem, but yes they are

  7. Yes the Forestry Division of the Min of Agriculture has forest rangers and other ppl who patrol the swamp

  8. Yes they are supposed to be!  Poachers whos are found killing endagered or protected species are fined or jailed (maybe not often enough)
