  3. If you don't know, then LOOK IT UP IN THE DICTIONARY

if its not there, then no its not a word. =]

  4. Yes.

  5. Of course it is.  It means more sore.

  6. It's in my dictionary of choice, so I say "yes"

    sore  (sôr, sr)

    adj. sorer, sorest

    1. Painful to the touch; tender.

    2. Feeling physical pain; hurting: sore all over.

    3. Causing misery, sorrow, or distress; grievous: in sore need.

    4. Causing embarrassment or irritation: a sore subject.

    5. Full of distress; sorrowful.

    6. Informal Angry; offended.

  7. According to MW online it is a word. Not one I would use as it sounds rather hillbilly, but it is a word.

  8. Sorer is listed as an adjective so no, it would not be allowed in scrabble.

  9. So long as the dictionary all the players are using includes that spelling of that adjective.

    I cite the following:

    'Acceptable words;

Acceptable words are those words found as primary entries in some chosen dictionary, and all of their inflected forms. Words that are hyphenated, capitalized (such as proper nouns), marked as foreign, or appear only as part of multi-word phrases (such as "brac" from "bric-à-brac") are not allowed, unless they also appear as acceptable entries: "Jack" is a proper noun, but the word JACK is acceptable because it has other usages (automotive, vexillological, etc.) that are acceptable. Acronyms or abbreviations, other than those that have been regularized (such as AWOL, RADAR, and SCUBA), are not allowed. Variant spellings, slang or offensive terms, archaic or obsolete terms, and specialized jargon words are allowed if they meet all other criteria for acceptability."

    I rest my case.

  10. It is a valid word so therefore yes

  11. If you are more likely to say 'sorer' in a conversation than 'more sore', then yes.

  12. Yes - sore - sorer - sorest

  13. Officially no

  14. depends how stupid the other players are.

  15. http://www.scrabulous.com/scrabble_dicti...

you can use these to check if certain words exist, the word sorer does exist according to these dictionaries. if you play scrabble a lot you might want to buy an official scrabble dictionary, helps a lot and is fairly cheap.

  16. yeah, its an adjective of sore

  17. Only to discribe you demeanor when you`ve lost. you would be a sorer loser because you where not allowed this word and it caused you to lose, now loser you could have.
