  1. Haha.

Yeah, even as a fan of the show, I'll admit that it's more or less become synonymous with the term anime.

But then again, it appeals to a wider audience because I know people of all ages that watch it, which isn't necessarily the case with other anime.

Also, it's obviously one of the more promoted series.

It's been around for a long time and the fan base is constantly growing, and with all the merchandise there is available (plushies, headbands, cards, costumes, watches, notebooks, backpacks, keychains, mousepads, posters, t-shirts, etc) it's being promoted in a way that makes it seem like it's a masterpiece.

Personally, I know it was the very first series I started to follow religiously and I still LOVE it to this day, but people need to know that there are other great series out there.....and just because some of them may be near-obsolete, doesn't mean they aren't worth watching.....maybe they just didn't appeal to the majority of anime fans.

    Well, that's my two-cents.

But now matter how overrated it may be, I'm going to continue reading it till the end, just because something becomes popular doesn't mean it isn't any good anymore...

Haha, and, by the way, I'm listening to my Zen right now!

  2. well it is currently the number one anime because of the majority but bleach is number 2 it will always be people who dont like naruto so no it is not replacing anime at all naruto is my favorite anime of all time but i also like FMA  which is up there with naruto

i also like parysyte highschool of the dead and inuyasha and many others like even kodocha

even thou naruto is the best now later on when naruto has been finished and has been threw about its 8th re run then another anime/manga will come along and wow everyone i remember DBZ use to be the biggest anime ever it still is a legend but people of all ages watched that and alot of great manga-ka's of today use to watch that as there favorite anime including kishimoto so no i believe naruto is just a really good anime

  3. not in the slightest bit. naruto is currently the #1 anime in all of japan and american so naturally it would kind of seem that like that. and there are hundreds of other wonderful anime out there and they all had there time to shine.

  4. I sure hope not!

  5. Yes because whenever you mention the word "Anime" in my school, they will think you are a naruto fan and most of them don't even know any anime besides naruto.

  6. No. Not in the slightest. I know plenty of other anime, though I am a huge fan. Still, Naruto is far from a replacement of Anime. Bleach is up there with Naruto at least for fans who only watch dubs and not any subs. And most people know plenty more anime than just Naruto

  7. I see what you are getting at. Especially if you refer to this section. Where most questions I notice are to do  with Naruto. Dunno why everyone likes Naruto so much, to me every episode I watch it takes too long to get to the point so I get bored. But most people like it so maybe I'm not giving it much of a chance

  8. No i do not feel like that this is an outrageous question .. not everyone likes naruto .. and i do not think naruto can become the name of anime ... anime are all the animes in the world i mean ... just hoe could you post this question you are breaking me appart  its just that naruto is not that popular .... O.O i almost had a heart attack because of this question

People please try to post questions in  a little more subtle .. please one day i will really have an heart attack

Sorry i answered this question in this way ..  but it came like a punch in the stomach from out of nowhere ....

  9. I guess you're wrong.......

Naruto is a specific name of many anime.

Anime is Japanese animation in general.

I get your point, but Naruto doesn't even appear like 50% of all the questions in C&A category. (But it's still a lot)
