Is the word "cynegetics" still in use in any English speaking country?

The word cynegetics is defined as "the art of hunting with dogs." Some dictionaries list it as obsolete, while others do not. I wonder if this word is in more common use in countries other than the US (which is where I am from.) Does anyone know if the word cynegetics is commonly used or understood in any English speaking country? Or should I just use the word "hunting" instead?

  1. I have never heard that word b4, I am from the UK, and fox hunting using dogs is now illegal, but non fox hunting using dogs is still legal, I think.
