Is the world going to end??

Question

Why is the sun SSOOO big here in Oregon. Its HUGE!! The biggest I or you have EVER seen it, and it looks sooo close to the earth! I was wondering what could cause it to be that BIG???

i was watching somthing on the scince ch

about the end of the world and scientist sayed

a big meatear will hit earth killing every thing and every one in a 500 mile ratest i think in ny

and every thing will change new species of trees and plants will apere

every thing will evolve

so in a way the world will end becose it becomed a new world

It probably has to do with precession of the equionoxes happening in 2012, its a special alignment that happens 1 time every 26,000 years. There are apocalyptic scenarios tied into the 2012 theory, I believe it will happen. If you wish to learn more I can fill you iyn on my beliefs and why it is likely to happen, not the end of the Earth, but massive global extinctions and the beginning of a new period and a new beginning for humanity. So i guess you could say the world will end, but its more of the world ending in relation to how people see the world,  not the end of the physcial world. Maybe in 2012, but not because of the sun. look up on something about crystal skulls and the Sumerian calender. it'll explain the 2012 end. and if its not. the sun will eventually burn up the earth, but bot for another 100,000 years or so because the sun is a star and eventually all stars die.

The earth is getting closer to the sun. It is called a decaying orbit. We will be burned up soon.

You worry too much. Just enjoy the view. There is a scientific reason for it, but since I have forgotten half of what I have learned, I will not be able to give you the reason why it appears that way. But the sun hasn't grown, at least before the last time I measured it.lol

i don't know why the sun may seem to appear bigger in Oregon...maybe you've been out for too long...but i don't think it has anything to do with the world ending...and as for that one guy who said something about the world ending in 2012...omg...lol...i think everybody freaks about 2012 except for the Mayans and other cultures that look at life from astrological perspective...(Mayans still live by the way...the only difference is that they carry cell's and stuff...lol...)2012 is nothing but a misinterpretation if not a way too mislead people...i'm sure that if you ask someone with significant knowledge to what might happen in the 2012, they'll tell you that many cultures just look at it as a change in time, and not the end of the world...

There's many theories about if, how and when the world is going to end but quite honestly, I don't think it will ever end...maybe just transition into another state because that's what death is, right? All life may become extinct at some point. When? I don't have a clue! but the planet itself will most likely still remain...it'd take a LOT more to destroy the planet than it would to destroy what exists on it.

...and if the world really did end, you probably wouldn't even be alive to whitness it, so no need to panic!
