I wanna know whether the world is gonna end on 2012 (ad). Can you please help me!

If NASA doomsayers are on point with their prediction, then my world will end in 2012. NASA has predicted that the year 2012 will bring solar storms and flares, the likes of which Earth hasn’t seen since 1958. So it's not soo bad, but like technology will go silent for a bit, and that could drive anyone crazy. The Mayan's calendar predicts the end of the world on December 21, 2012. And their calendars are pretty dang accurate considering their time and everything. Like they got comet predictions and everything with just like very small amounts off. So worst case scenario, or best case, either way, the world ends soon, unless the calendar was a little off, which is expected, a few years or so. Wow, End of the World kind of stuff, you know?

Scientist say that in December 2012 the earth will be in alignment with a black hole that is located by the big dipper. They say that when this happens there will be destruction. It will cause the earth rotation an axis to change. They say it won't necessarily be the end of the world but there will be damage. The amount will depend on how far the rotation moves.

A firm no. This does not need expounding at all, and the 2012 thing is ridiculous. Only one thing will end on 2012: One of the Mayan Calendars will end. THAT'S IT. There will be no end of the world on that date.

i have read up on this stuff for a number of years i find it interesting alot of scientists seem to all agree this definitely happens what they argue over is how it happens and how fast it happens...

im talking about polar shifting, this is when north becomes south and south becomes north...

ever wondered why there is north and true north?

there seems to be ALOT of scientific proof that this occurs, if it happens as some scientists think the earths surface could shift up to 120 degrees within a short time...

and then a new equator sets then another ice age..

what do you guys think??

no one from NASA is claiming the world will end.  There IS a Solar maximum in 2011-12, and if you are afraid of that you need to get more school.  It happens every 11 years or so.

Nostrildamus is NOT a reliable ANYTHING.  He never made a SINGLE prediction that came true.  Remember, he wrote in gibberish.  His book was like a puzzle for the really dumb.

The world is going to be fine in 2012.  If anything, the next President elect of the United States will determine if this country continues to go in the right direction after the 2009 President elect.  Overall, barring a highly unlikely collision with an asteroid, we're going to be all right in 2012 and beyond.

Studying Revelations as it relates to the events of history up to today is a great place to start.  If all the prophecies haven't been fulfilled by then the answer would be no.

I am 18, and have already lived through about 15 end of the world predictions.  Including 2000, and also apparently it was supposed to end last year on October 22nd or something, as well as November 16thish as well.  As it hasnt ended any of these times, I am hoping it wont in 2012 either.

No, the world is not going to end in 2012. The only reason this rumor started was because a bunch of fifth graders learned about the sun and it dying out. They then spread the rumor that the world was going to end in four years. The rumor got so far that parents started spreading it, then a friend of a news reporter found out and he told the news reporter. Then it aired on the news. That is how the news reporters found out. Scientists have been working on it since June.

Scientists don't expect anything out of the ordinary to happen in the year 2012, or specifically on the date December 21, other than the solstice, which happens every year.

None of the "predicted" happenings for 2012 hold up under close scrutiny. "Planet X" and "Nibiru" simply don't exist. The Mayan calendar ends a cycle, but there were no predictions of the end of the world. The Sun doesn't line up with the galactic centre; it's 6 degrees off. No asteroids or comets are actually predicted to hit Earth.

All of this stuff was put together by crackpots in order to promote their books and TV shows, and shamelessly promoted by the History Channel. Don't take any of it seriously!
