  2. You can find free music in a number of places. ITunes has a free section and sometimes at concerts (like Lollapalooza) they'll hand out free download cards as promotional items.

    Also, websites of lesser-known bands who have put their music up there.

  3. You can download free, legal songs from music.download.com.

  4. The free section of iTunes, which usually doesn't have anything good.

    Other than that, no.  If it's got a price anywhere, it's illegal to not pay for it.
