  1. No there isn't a vet on answers, which is why I'm always telling people to PICK UP THE PHONE when they have a question like this, not come on here!

Even if there was a vet on  here, they don't know about your dog's case do they? A sensible vet would tell you to speak to the vet in charge of your dog's case; this is the kind of thing they need to be told about!

Overdoses of antibiotics don't tend to cause this. Since we don't even know where the infection is or what type of infection it is - call your vet.

    Chalice

  2. try calling your vet and ask them  is that possible?

  3. call your vet. this is NOT  a side effect of this drug. side effects could be vomiting loose stools etc but this is not one of them. make sure your dog does not have an allergy or sensitivity to this drug.

  4. Call your vet back !!!!

  5. You really should contact your vet.  It probably only requires a phone call for which you should not be charged.

You have not provided any details that would allow anyone to make the proper diagnosis, ie. breed of your dog, weight, what the infection is for which he is being treated.  Even if you did, trust your medication questions/direction to the person that knows your dog... your personal vet!

  6. Is it 2 ml or what?I have researched and found that  "Skeletal muscle paralysis may be seen at high concentrations". So I wondered what the dose is you are giving.Dosage is supposed to be 2.5 to 15mg per lb.

  7. Call your vet and ask, it's a free call. Double check with the dose you're giving, and describe how he's acting.  They will be happy to answer your questions.  Good luck.

  8. If he's having difficulty walking, he needs to go back to the vet.  It may be just a bit of dizziness from the inner ear, but it could also be a toxic reaction.  Let the vet take a look and see how things are going.

  9. are you shure that you are giving him the right amount?maybe ask your vet again in case you missunderstoode her
