Is their a guage that comes when u want to measure propane guage?

Is their an instrument, how you can tell, i dont mean weighing it or anything like that.

  1. The only accurate way to tell how much propane is left in a cylinder is to weigh it. On the collar of the cylinder will be a marking of either TW## if it's marked in pounds or T## if it's in metric. This is the "tare weight" of the cylinder. That is the weight of the cylinder with no propane in it. Weigh the cylinder and subtract the tare weight from the scale reading and you will know how many pounds or kilograms of propane are left. There are a few inline guages available, but they are useless! Basically they just sense the pressure in the tank. These guages will read full until the cylinder has almost nothing left in it and then drop to empty very quickly.


  2. yes they make a stick on thermometer that goes on the side of your tank. Where the liquid propane is will have a different temperature so it will be a different color.
