Is their a non christain homeschool group in east Tx?

I homeschool my Teen aged daughter in east Tx and we do not fit in with the christain HS groups and would love to find others like us and a group that we can meet up with.... is there anything out here like that in East Tx?

Good luck!! We live in Houston and it is hard finding groups that are not based on religion.

I've found that the majority of homeschool groups are religious (even the ones that say that they are not.)  Try doing a search in Yahoo Groups - and/or consider starting your own group.  Maybe one with homeschooling/community service goals.  Concerning the later you may find some helpful suggestions at:  http://www.h-e-a-r-t-s.org.  - If you can't find others right away begin working in your community and eventually you will attract other like-minded people.
