I wanted to know is there a supplement that helps reduce hair growth like face or body? I hate waxing all the time, I have Polystic Ovaries so there is a reason for it.

  1. You could have a hormone imbalance because of the PCOS, causing the hirsutism. Get checked out by a good medicinal herbalist and/or naturopath, and include your MD on the discussions too. If you're on medication, some of the suggested herbal treatments may interact with the medication you're already on.


  2. spironolactone is a very cheap prescription drug that is helpful for female facial hair due to any sort of estrogen issue...ask your doc for a script...I think it is $4 for a month supply at both Target and Wal-Mart...

  3. in all honesty I would see a Homeopath about this. They can really get to the root of the problem. As you mentioned the cause for the excess hair is PCOS so that's what you have to treat first.

  4. Maybe Chinese Acupuncture? Might still be cheaper to get laser hair removal. I think 6 treatments is all it takes. Price around, dbl check to see if any bad reports to the local better business bureau.
