Is their an australian standard for motor cross boots?

looking for build specifics and crash testing if any? of motorcross boots what to know if boots have to be built to a specific standard for sale here in australia

  1. The 2008 manual of motorcycle sport does not state that there is an Australian standard for boots.  For helmets there is but all that is referred to in the manual is that the boots must be of a recognised Motocross Type.  They must be constructed of Leather, plastic or other similarly durable material and of a length that must  at least cover  3/4 of the length of the lower leg, with the rider in a racing position on the machine.

    You could always contact motorcycling australia to see if there is anything else they know, but as far as I know all the boots are manufactured in places other than Australia.
