  1. Not legally. Australia does not allow the private ownership of non-native reptiles. Only zoos and other licensed exhibitors would have these species legally.  


  2. No, Australia only allows the keeping of native species to protect our fauna.

    The only persons allowed to keep exotic species are zoo's, researches and public demonstrators who have the appropriate license - which can only be granted to them and not the general public.
