Is their any team past or present that was as good as the celtics of the 50's-60's?

I'm just talking about the team that won 8 consecutive. Can anbdoy break down positions 1-8 on that team and how good each player was. Looking for had core celtic old school fans.

Yeah other teams can be as good or better, but they still wont win as many championships because the number of total teams in the league has tripled and that makes it much, much harder to overcome the odds to win that many times. Not to get into a debate about whether Jordan or Russell was better but when people do so and bring numbers of championships into the debate, it becomes an unfair comparison. Winning 6 times in 8 years with one third the odds of winning is actually statistically more unlikely than winning 8 in a row and 11 of 13 with three times the odds of winning a season.
