  1. there are many site those are giving you informations about air travel one is http://www.airmanual.com

  2. no, there is no internet on planes. plus, if you get one of those plug-ins that gives you internet you can't use it. some airlines don't let you use laptops or phones in any mode

  3. It doesn't matter you're not allowed, it interferres with the navigation and communication systems.

  4. Joker, you are out of luck with this. There is no internet access on aircraft.

    Sorry.

  5. It's "there" not "their".

  6. Not yet but they have the ability. It's about the size of a pizza box and you will have to pay a fee and the signal will trasnmitt to the box ( in the cockpit) and then to a main server on the planet. It's a coming! It has too = the airlines need the $$ - and the businessmen need the info. I think it will be launched on some carriers this comng spring and I'm pretty sure Jet Blue is having the first for national airtravel and Virgin Airlines is introducing it sooner but only on thier internatonal flights

  7. Yes, there is but it is extremely limited. A few airlines are experimenting with it but only a very small number of aircraft. American Airlines, for example, has it but only on 767-200's operating on transcontinental flights.

Delta, Alaska, and Southwest are planning to install it but don't have it yet. Delta says that they will have it on all flights sometime next year. Don't think that it will be free, though. Delta, for example, will charge $9.95-$12.95 depending on the length of the flight.

  8. Lufthansa just removed theirs.
