Is their much difference between JVC subs and Alpine subs?

Nothing, they are both sub woofers. However, performance wise you have to hear them both which sub suits your taste.

For car stereo, the Alpine is a better and more popular brand.

Alpine always better.. Depends on how much money your willing to spend, cheaper budget JVC More expensive Budget Alpine

If going to but get alpine,They are nicer subs and they realy hit the deep notes ;D

jvc is a low end product comparable to pioneer, jensen, sony, and such when it comes to car audio world.

alpine is more prestige and higher in quality. comparable to kenwood, eclipse and such. with subs the alpine type r and its x series are its best. jvc has nothing close to it.
