I do not believe in karma or luck, however, I have had the worst circumstance with anyone who has a particular name. Example, Anytime, someone with the name Jorge* someone will end up having REALLY bad connection with.... It won't matter if it is male, female, child, or old man, If his name is Jorge or George.... the spelling won't even matter just the particular name. Is it possible?

P.S. I do not have a problem with anyone with that name I was using it as an example.

  1. I know where you're coming from lol, all the Brian's I've ever met have always gotten on my nerves but I had no reason to hate them. Even though my best friend's name is Brian, he makes me laugh all the time but other times I can't stand him lol.

    Ughh. nevermind. lol.

  2. I have never heard of that before.  I would say no its not true but there are a lot of superstitions out there.  I don't believe in superstitions.  I believe in Karma however, and that has nothing to do with a name..it has to do with a persons actions.

  3. i think so.

i mean, tim allen was born as "tim allen d**k" and people always made fun of him cuz of his last name.[he couldn't get a straight job, comedy gig] so i would say that's a bad luck name. so he dropped his last name.

  4. Names are not simply words but compact associations. They conjure mini histories with them. That is why success in some endeavor often leads to a sudden surge in popularity with that name. Of course, the more 'successful' a name becomes, or the more often it becomes associated with success, the more likely the person bearing such a name will also feel successful.

Likewise, a name with an ignomious history would very likely bring the person (who is really no relation to the historical person associated) considerable social and personal misfortune, yet another example of bad luck. Think of Atilla or Adolf or Vladimir (outside of Russia, of course.) In addition, since a name can be either harmonious or conflicting with one's personality, its possible that the name given to us can give us an example we can't live up to or can't get away from, adding another layer of difficulty to our already complicated lives.

As for particular names, it is not so much bad luck as usually a warning. Most 'bad luck' is really a psychic groove that history is trying to keep us away from. If, for example, you keep dating guys named Jorge, per your example, then it could be that the Universe is making those relationships difficult so that you don't later make a mistake with the absolute worst Jorge you could ever meet. The bad luck Jorge's you meet, therefore, become mini warnings in an attempt to keep you away from them, usually for a good reason.

Bad luck is as much about staying in the same bad luck pattern/groove as it is about alot of bad things happening to you. One has to develop the will and the belief that one can overcome one's bad luck, and attempt to get away from it, in order for the 'bad luck' to be broken. And one can't do that by ignoring what the bad luck is saying to the person. If it hurts if you bang your head against the wall, maybe you're not meant to bang your head against the wall.
