In Centro (Downtown) Cancun, there is a street called Avenida Yaxchilan that is lined with restaurants and local style cantinas. About one block south of Av. Uxmal is a pair of clubs on the east side of Av. Yaxchilan called Sabor (Ritmo Caribe) and El Gran Kumbala. On any given night, these places are where you want to go for this style of entertainment.
