Is there ANY reason at all to believe in someone who doesn't believe in you?

  1. If it is a good parent or grandparent, then probably yes there is, because they love you in spite of things you might have done or might do in the future to disappoint them.  Belief and trust are not the same thing.  You can not trust someone because of the choices they have made and still believe that they are good people and deserve to be loved.
