Is there ANY way of walking from Stepps to Lenzie? Lenzie Road has no footpath?

If I want to get from my house in Stepps to Lenzie train station I need to get a taxi which costs about £4, but sometimes I wouldn't mind walking, but there's no footpath from what I can see, or is there?

I think it might be possible to walk down to Millerston and then go through the backroad there but I was wanted to walking basically from the corner of Mount Harriet Drive and Lenzie Road, down Lenzie Road and along, but the footpath runs out.

If you want to walk from Stepps to Lenzie on foot path.

No prob, Come to Springburn Road, walk towards

Bishopbriggs, take Kirkintilloch Rd. reach Lenzie.

Please remember, it is possible but is it viable ?
