Is there ANY way to breed grass knot & earthquake onto empoleon?

Yes, it can be done -- Piplup can learn it via TM and thus via the breeding rules if the father knows it, Piplup will be born knowing it.  But to do that, you'll have to do a breeding chain using pokemon that can learn it to produce a father that knows it, and to do that you'll need to understand egg groups.  Since Grass Knot is a TM-only move (not learned by leveling up by any pokemon), you'll have to start with whichever pokemon you taught it to.  And if you taught it to a female pokemon, you're out of luck -- beyond raising a pokemon with pickup ability high enough to find the TM or trading for it (not likely).  As a side note, breeding moves are those that can be taught to a pokemon via the father *despite* them not being able to learn them via TM.  For example, you won't find Double-Team listed as a breeding move but all pokemon can learn it via TM and thus you can breed it into any pokemon from a father that knows it.
